WEDNESDAY, MAY 1

Tia Jack scored eight goals to lead Scotia-Glenville to an 18-3 win over Amsterdam/Broadalbin-Perth in Foothills Council action. Karaline McCarthy added four goals, two assists and seven draw controls, while Lily Dempsey had three goals and one assist. Skye Holoway led Amsterdam/Broadalbin-Perth with two goals.

Queensbury shut out Hudson Falls 26-0. Bayley Duffy made five saves in goal for the Spartans. Kady Duffy led the way with five goals and two assists. Twelve players scored.

Chloe Scanlan reached 100 career points as Shenendehowa topped Guilderland 10-6. Scanlan provided a goal and four assists. Carrie Bennett added four goals. Eva Pflomm provided two goals and two assists.

MONDAY, APRIL 29

Karaline McCarthy had five goals and an assist, and Alice Nichter picked up three goals and an assist in Scotia-Glenville’s 12-8 Foothills Council win over South Glens Falls. Lily Dempsey scored twice for the Tartans, while Ava Reynolds paced the Bulldogs with four goals.

Bethlehem downed Averill Park 18-3 in the Suburban Council. Mae Conway had four goals and three assists for Bethlehem, while Caroline Marotta added four goals and two assists. Avery Eick had three goals and an assist. Hannah Daly scored twice for Averill Park.

Saratoga Springs nipped Shaker 12-11. Carly Wise had four goals and one assist for the Blue Streaks, and Janie Baringer had three goals and two assists. Faith Britton also scored four goals. Jenna Amodio made 12 saves. For Shaker, Lindsay McCulloch had four goals and one assist. Kacie Pilla and Ava Scatteressia each scored twice.

SATURDAY, APRIL 27

Shenendehowa dropped a 9-8 non-league decision to Baldwinsville. Carrie Bennett had three goals and an assist to lead Shenendehowa.

Annie Cunneen’s four goals helped Yorktown beat Shaker 7-4. Lindsey McCulloch had two goals for Shaker.

FRIDAY, APRIL 26

Kendal Kelsey and Addison Boecher scored four goals apiece, and Queensbury racked up a season-high goal total in a 27-0 Foothills Council win over Johnstown. Lilly Trowbridge had a hat trick and two assists, Lillian Hess had a hat trick and one assist, Kayla Zehr had two goals and three assists, Emerson Lochner-Fehl had one goal and three assists and Quinn Jones had two goals and a pair of assists as part of the Spartans' 26th straight home victory.

THURSDAY, APRIL 25

Niskayuna cruised past Ballston Spa with a 20-1 Suburban Council victory. Allison Boler led Niskayuna with five goals, while Abigail Daversa-Russo and Addison Brys each scored three. Abigail Licht had two goals and two assists, and Ava Roemer had two goals and one assist. Ballston Spa’s lone goal came from Kate Fletcher.

Saratoga Springs picked up a 11-7 win over Shenendehowa. Janie Baringer had four goals and an assist for the Blue Streaks, and Carly Wise had three goals. Carrie Bennett had three goals and two assists to lead Shenendehowa, while Chloe Scanlon tacked on two goals.

Bethlehem defeated Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake 18-3, as Caroline Marotta led the Eagles with five goals and two assists. Mae Conway contributed four goals and two assists, while Avery Eick scored three goals. Kirstin Phang and Brianna Fabian added two goals apiece for the Eagles. Grace Tullock, Grace Kogut and Emme Fischer all scored for the Spartans.

Colonie defeated crosstown rival Shaker 9-5, with Kate Boardman, Natalie Boardman and Riley Lemerise each scoring three goals. Sarah Bette had a goal and assist for Shaker.

Columbia defeated Averill Park 13-5, with Kaitlyn Bogucki scoring five goals for the Blue Devils, and Molly Marra collecting four goals and one assist. Abby Houser scored three goals for Averill Park.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 24

Scotia-Glenville picked up a 14-5 non-league win over Ballston Spa. Karaline McCarthy had six goals and an assist for the Tartans, and Lily Dempsey tacked on three goals.

TUESDAY, APRIL 23

Shenendehowa topped Niskayuna 14-9 in a Suburban Council matchup. Senior midfielder Eva Pflomm led the Plainsmen with five goals and one assist, while Carrie Bennett added three goals and one assist. Ava Roemer had three goals for Niskayuna, and Natalie Zhu had two goals and one assist.

Holy Names defeated Ichabod Crane 14-5 in Colonial Council action. Anna Nichols had four goals and two assists in the win, and Chloe Friedman tacked on four goals and one assist. Ella Schoenborn, Bridget Burke and Sophia Kaiser all contributed two goals. Olivia Hlvac and Melodi Sundwall each had two goals for Ichabod Crane.

Voorheesville topped Hoosick Falls/Tamarac 19-3. Caroline Murphy had two goals for Hoosick Falls/Tamarac.

Shaker topped Albany Academy 16-6 in a non-league contest. Elisabeth Gialanella had four goals and one assist for the Blue Bison, while Cara Calicchia and Lindsey McCulloch each had two goals and two assists. Julianna Bang scored four goals in the loss for Albany Academy.

Saratoga Springs defeated Fulton 12-11.

MONDAY, APRIL 22

Scotia-Glenville defeated Hudson Falls 20-1 in Foothills Council action on Monday, behind a seven-goal performance from Tia Jack. Karaline McCarthy racked up five goals and seven assists for the Tartans, while Alice Nichter had three goals and two assists.

Bethlehem picked up a 19-1 Suburban Council win over Albany, with Haley Kibrick tallying four goals and an assist, and Avery Cick added four more goals. Brianna Fabian had three goals and two assists, and Lauren Broder had two goals and two assists.

Greenwich defeated Amsterdam/Broadalbin-Perth 14-8, as Lizzie Marci tallied six goals and four assists for the Witches. Molly Abate also racked up six goals in the win. For Amsterdam/Broadalbin-Perth, Shea Holloway scored three goals.

Queensbury took down Shenendehowa 14-4 in a non-league matchup, as the Spartans were led by five goals from Kaitlyn Barton and four goals and three assists from Kady Duffy. Sarah Johnson added two goals and two assists, while Kayle Zehr had two goals. Shenendehowa’s Josie Bullock contributed three goals for the Plainsmen.

Saratoga Springs defeated Jamesville-Dewitt 12-10.

SATURDAY, APRIL 20

Ballston Spa downed Albany 9-4 in a Suburban Council contest. Nora Mansion led the Scotties with four goals, while Kate Fletcher provided three. Saliah Webster made 10 saves in victory. Danica Fish’s two goals paced Albany, which got 10 saves from Zoe Gravina.

Niskayuna cruised to a 17-2 win over Averill Park. Ava Roemer led Niskayuna with four goals and two assists. Abigail Licht had three goals and two assists, Addison Brys collected three goals and an assist, Madelyn Cummins had two goals and two assists and Allison Boler and Sarah Toth added two goals each.

Molly Abate had four goals and an assist, and Lizzie Marci added three goals and two assists as Greenwich beat Johnstown 14-0 in the Foothills Council. Brooke Demianenko and Luna Wiebe each scored twice.

In non-league action, John Jay beat Shaker 14-8. Johanna Degl led John Jay with five goals and one assist. Elisabeth Gialanella led Shaker with two goals and one assist.

FRIDAY, APRIL 19

Karaline McCarthy had six goals, two assists and five draw controls to lead Scotia-Glenville to a 19-1 win over Johnstown. Alice Nichter had four goals and seven draw controls, while Brianna Kuon and Lily Dempsey each scored three goals.

John Jay topped Shenendehowa 11-6 in non-league action. Carrie Bennett led the Plainsmen with three goals, while Eva Pflomm added two.

THURSDAY, APRIL 18

Albany defeated Schenectady/Mohonasen 5-2, with Alina Mujic scoring two goals for the Falcons. Kaylee Garcia, Grace McDaniel and Maya Raveendranath each added one goal for Albany, while Olivia Merfeld had two goals for Schenectady.

Shaker mounted a late comeback to defeat Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake 7-6. Lindsey McCulloch had three goals and an assist for the Blue Bison, while Elisabeth Gialanella had one goal and one assist. Grace Tullock led the Spartans with four goals and an assist, while Isabella Yeceis tallied 14 saves.

Bethlehem cruised past Ballston Spa 24-2, with Mae Conway leading the way with five goals and two assists. Caroline Marotta and Brianna Fabian each scored four goals with one assist, and Avery Eick had three goals and three assists. Kate Fletcher and Avery Arnold each had one goal.

Saratoga Springs topped Averill Park 18-7.

TUESDAY, APRIL 16

Bethlehem defeated Colonie 9-5 in Suburban Council action. Caroline Marotta led the Eagles with five goals. Mae Conway and Brianna Fabian each had two. Katie Boardman led Colonie with two goals, while Emma Taylor saved 14 shots.

Shaker downed Ballston Spa 21-5 behind 10 first-quarter scores. Carolina Austin led the Blue Bison with three goals and three assists. Joelle Hannoush contributed three goals and one assist, with Elisabeth Gialanella adding two goals and two assists. Nora Manion scored twice to lead the Scotties.

Shenendehowa got five goals from midfielder Carrie Bennett in its 20-8 victory over Averill Park. Chloe Scanlon contributed three goals and five assists, while Josie Bullock had three goals and one assist. Abby Houser netted four goals for Averill Park.

In the Colonial Council, Holy Names downed Emma Willard 12-7 behind Anna Nichols’ seven goals and two assists. Ella Schoenborn contributed four goals and an assist. For the Jesters, Ceci Christian led the way with four goals, and Sherry Hsieh made 16 saves.

Hoosick Falls/Tamarac topped Schenectady/Mohonasen 21-2. Grace Houghton led the Wildcats with five goals and one assist. Caroline Murphy added four.

Queensbury defeated Greenwich 19-2 in a Foothills Council contest. Kady Duffy led the Spartans with five goals and one assist. Lilly Trowbridge contributed four goals and one assist, with Kendal Kelsey having two goals and four assists. Bayley Duffy made a career-high nine saves for Queensbury (2-0, 5-0).

MONDAY, APRIL 15

Shaker defeated Guilderland 11-5 in Suburban Council action, as Lindsey McCulloch scored five goals with one assist for the Blue Bison. Elisabeth Gialanella scored two goals, with three assists for Shaker as well, while Olivia Birgness scored three goals for Guilderland.

Queensbury navigated past Saratoga Springs 10-6 in a non-league matchup. Kaitlin Barton scored a game-high four goals and goalie Bayley Duffy recorded eight saves to give the Queensbury varsity girls lacrosse team its fourth consecutive victory. Kendal Kelsey added three goals, and Kady Duffy provided a pair of goals. Sarah Johnson and Lilly Trowbridge each handed out one assist. Janie Baringer scored three goals for Saratoga Springs.

Cohoes defeated Albany 8-4. Maria Frank, Clare Frank and Carli O’Hara each scored twice for Cohoes, while Hannah Bullock made seven saves. Zoe Gravina saved 11 shots for Albany.

SATURDAY, APRIL 13

Niskayuna defeated Minisink Valley 12-10 in a non-league game. Ava Roemer paced Niskayuna with five goals and an assist. Addison Brys scored three goals, and Abigail Licht added two goals and three assists.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake was edged by Longmeadow 10-9. Maggie Lescault led the Spartans with four goals and two assists. Caroline Kogut added three goals.

Fox Lane topped Shenendehowa 13-9. Carrie Bennett led the Plainsmen with three goals. Eva Pflomm added two goals. Chloe Scanlon had a goal and two assists. 

Bethlehem won its first game of the year, 9-8 in double overtime over Saratoga Springs in Suburban Council action. Caroline Marotta scored four goals for the Eagles, while Carly Wise also had four for the Blue Streaks.

FRIDAY, APRIL 12

Nationally ranked Wilton (Conn.) defeated Shenendehowa 14-4. Carrie Bennett led the Plainsmen with one goal and eight draw controls.

THURSDAY, APRIL 11

Madelyn Cummings had two goals and an assist to help Niskayuna beat Shaker 8-5 in the Suburban Council. Abigail Daversol and Ava Roemer also scored twice for Niskayuna. Goalie Gianna Deso had 11 saves.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake rolled past Ballston Spa 18-1.

Rylie Kline scored four goals for the Spartans, Maggie Lescault had five goals and one assist and Caroline Kogut had a goal and seven assists.

Guilderland used a seven-goal third quarter to help top Averill Park 15-4. Elizabeth Shater had five goals for Guilderland, while Gianna Hanna had three. Liz Hansen led Averill Park with two goals.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10

Kady Duffy had six goals and five assists, and Maddie Macaulay scored the 5,000th goal in program history as Queensbury rolled past Amsterdam/Broadalbin-Perth 25-0 in the Foothills Council. Macaulay’s goal gave the Spartans an 11-0 lead in the second quarter.

TUESDAY, APRIL 9

Ava Roemer scored four goals to help Niskayuna get past Guilderland 12-8 in the Suburban Council. Abigail Licht had two goals and two assists for Niskayuna, and Abigail Daversa-Russo scored two goals. Elizabeth Shafer had four goals and an assist for Guilderland.

Libby Gialanella had two goals and three assists, and Cara Calicchia had two goals and two assists to lead Shaker to a 19-1 victory over Albany in the Suburban Council.

Scotia-Glenville won a high-scoring affair, 19-18 over Glens Falls in overtime, in the Foothills Council. Alice Nichter led the Tartans with six goals and three assists. Karaline McCarthy added five goals and one assist, while Lily Dempsey had five goals. Brooke Eggleston led the Black Bears with five goals and one assist. Piper Eddy added four goals and two assists.

Kaitlyn Barton scored four goals, and Kady Duffy had three goals and an assist to lead Queensbury past Bethlehem 10-6 in a non-league game. Sarah Johnson scored two goals for the Spartans, who outscored the Eagles 6-2 in the second half.

SATURDAY, APRIL 6

Brooke Ward had four goals and three assists to lead Shenendehowa to a 21-1 Suburban Council victory. Josie Bullock added four goals and one assist, while Caroline Follis finished with three goals and two assists. Grace McDaniel scored for Albany.

In a tight non-league game, Shaker edged Bullis (Md.) 10-9. Lindsey McCulloch led the Blue Bison with five goals and one assist. Sarah Bette provided two goals and two assists in the win, while Maeve Tobler made 13 saves as Shaker improved to 2-1.

Averill Park topped Johnstown 21-1 behind Hannah Daly's five goals. Abby Houser had four goals and two assists, and Ciara Pogue had four goals and one assist. Marilia Ganzharina scored for Johnstown.

Saratoga Springs defeated Rome Free Academy 16-9.

FRIDAY, APRIL 5

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake defeated Averill Park 16-2 in a Suburban Council matchup. The Spartans, which had a trio each score three goals, were led by Rylie Kline’s three goals and three assists. Caroline Kogut had three goals and two assists, and Maggie Lescault had three goals and one assist. Chloe Kniskern, Grace Kogut and Julia Fredrick all scored two goals for the Spartans. For Averill Park, Abby Houser, Hannah Daly and Lizzie Hansen each scored a goal.

TUESDAY, APRIL 2

Saratoga Springs earned a dramatic 16-15 Suburban Council victory over Niskayuna in double overtime. Carly Wise led the way for the Blue Streaks with 10 goals and an assist, while Janie Baringer had two goals and three assists, and Parker Laurin had two goals. Niskayuna was led by four goals and two assists from Ava Roemer, and three goals from Natalie Zhu. Abigail Licht added two goals and four assists for Niskayuna.

Shaker cruised past Averill Park 18-4, as Sarah Bette, Cara Calredic and Libby Giakanelk each scored three goals. Catie Lanahan, Lindsey McCulloch and Tessa Carroll tacked on two apiece for the Blue Bison. Lizzie Hansen put together three goals for Averill Park.

Colonie worked past Shenendehowa with a 9-6 victory, as Kate Boardman tallied three goals and two assists for the Raiders. Riley Lemerise and Avery Connolly each added two goals in the win. For Shenendehowa, Josie Bullock and Caroline Follis each scored two goals.

Guilderland defeated Albany 16-2, behind five goals and two assists from Elizabeth Schafer. Kiley Burke and Gwen Case each scored three goals, while Carly King and Gianna Hanna each had two goals and one assist. Alina Mujic and Maise Saagas each scored a goal for Albany.
