HUDSON FALLS — Broadalbin-Perth senior point guard Preston Taylor passed 1,000 points for his career Monday night, scoring 19 points in the Patriots’ 47-38 win over Hudson Falls in a Foothills Council boys basketball crossover game.

Taylor, a five-year varsity player, entered the game 11 points shy of 1,000 for his career and now sits on 1,008 career points.

JP Person added nine points, Troy Monroe scored eight and Lucas Coon chipped in seven points for B-P in the win.

Brady Hayes scored 13 points to lead Hudson Falls, which also got nine points from Cam Jett and six points apiece from Riley Maddison and Sean Casey.


Foothills Council

Schuylerville 67, Broadalbin-Perth 22

Emily Vallee made 12 of 15 free throws en route to a game-high 18 points as the Black Horses beat B-P in a crossover game.

Cassie Patrick added 11 points for Schuylerville, while Caitlin Kelleher scored nine and Hunter VanArnum added eight points.

Isabella Magliocca scored eight points to lead B-P, which also got four points each from Lola DiCaterino and Nyah Thompson. The Lady Patriots made just five field goals on the night.
