The New York State Stock Car Association will again be rewarding its highest finishing members in each of the four divisions to race at the famous “Steel Palace,” Oswego Speedway, which is turned into the “Clay Palace,” from Oct. 4 to 8 during Super Dirt Week XLVI in Oswego.
Members of NYSSCA who proudly display their membership decal on their race car while competing in the Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified Series, DIRTcar 358 Modified Series, DIRTcar Pro Stock Series, or the DIRTcar Sportsman Modified Series at SDW. Forty-six are eligible to receive $100 for the first member and $50 for the second member finishing in their respective feature events.
Those events are the 46th annual NAPA Super Dirt Week Super DIRTcar Series Billy Whittaker Cars 200 for the DIRTcar Big Block Modified Series, the Great Outdoors RV 150 for the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series, the NAPA SDW XLVI DIRTcar Pro Stock Championship 75 and the NAPA SDW DIRTcar Sportsman Modified Chevy Performance 75 Championship.
NYSSCA representatives will be available for those members needing decals for their SDW XLVI rides and they will also have membership applications if anyone would like to become a member while at SDW XLVI.
New members will be able to purchase a membership for $25 that will cover them until April 1, 2019.
The New York State Stock Car Association is a group of racers dedicated to the betterment of the sport of auto racing through education and continued support. The NYSSCA benefit fund is the most important activity of the organization. The injured member benefit fund provides cash benefits for members injured during sanctioned racing events at recognized facilities.
