The spirit of the community

To the editor:

At NBT Bank, we firmly believe that our greatest asset is our people. In addition to the top-notch service they deliver to our customers, we're proud of the spirit of community involvement and volunteerism that motivates so many of our employees to be involved in local organizations and initiatives.

As a member of the Fulton-Montgomery community, we're proud to have the opportunity to work side by side with our friends and neighbors to help move initiatives forward that will sustain and enhance the quality of life in our area and build a positive future for the people and businesses located here.

As the regional executive for NBT Bank in the Fulton-Montgomery community, I will continue to encourage our team to be involved in the community. And, I want to extend that encouragement to everyone who calls this area home. Whether you volunteer with one of our many community and business organizations, get involved with local government or take steps to build a business, your time and effort will be a valuable contribution to the momentum in our area that will drive our success and create more promise for the future.
