Turner scores 22 points in Braves win

COBLESKILL -- Fonda-Fultonville's Will Turner followed up Tuesday's career-high 37-point effort against Voorheesville with a 22-point performance Friday against Cobleskill-Richmondville that paced the Braves to a 52-25 win over the Bulldogs.

Cam Ives added 10 points for the Braves, who outscored C-R 13-0 in the fourth quarter to pull away for the easy win.

Brad Koeberle scored seven points and Chris Riquier added six for Cobleskill-Richmondville.

Foothills Council

Broadalbin-Perth 54, Queensbury 41

Ben Bellandi knocked down six 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 22 points as the Patriots surged past Queensbury.

Andre Taylor added 10 points and Anthony Visco scored nine for B-P.

Charlie Peltz led Queensbury with 10 points, while Alston Moses and Andrew Homkey poured in eight apiece.

Western Athletic Conference

Canajoharie 60, Mayfield 55

Dillan Veeder paced three Canajoharie players in double figures with 14 points as the Cougars nipped Mayfield.

Zach Bowerman and Zach Folts each scored 11 points for the Cougars, while Josh Gonzalez chipped in with eight points.

Dylan Toscano and Ryan Hennessy scored 20 points apiece to lead Mayfield, while Luke VanNostrand added nine points.

Saratoga Catholic 59, Northville 53

Ryan Czarnecki scored a game-high 21 points to help the Saints pull out a home win over Northville.

Keegan Murphy added 13 points for Spa Catholic, while Jesse Winter and Michael Naughton scored eight apiece.

Northville got 14 points from Jim Grega, 12 from Jason VanNostrand, 11 from Barcley Heyward and nine from Tim Monette.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Western Athletic Conference

Canajoharie 45, Mayfield 38

Jenelle Dillenbeck's game-high 16 points helped the Lady Cougars cruise past Mayfield.

Lauren Balfe chipped in seven points for Canajoharie, while Dainara Veeder and Alexis Kane each scored nine points.

Alex Sheldon's 12 points led Mayfield in defeat.

Northville 44,

Saratoga Catholic 26

Lyndsey Wadsworth scored 22 points to help the Lady Falcons cruise past Saratoga Catholic.

Kelly VanNostrand chipped in 13 points to aid the winning effort for Northville.

Kaylie Fish and Alayna Landolfo each scored six points to lead the Lady Saints.
