James F. Boyle

James F. Boyle of Village Dr., Saugerties died December 13, 2012. He was 85.

He was born in Amsterdam, a son of the late James A. and Beatrice Conrad Boyle. A St. Mary's Institute graduate, Jim was a pitcher and played basketball.

He married Gloria Cavalier on August 5, 1950 and they moved to Saugerties in 1964.

For 30 years Jim was an Associate with Albert V. Conte Assoc., Saugerties. A Past Grand Knight of Saugerties Council #4536, he was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Snow Church, Saugerties. He was an avid bowler and golfer.

Beloved husband of Gloria Boyle, loving father of Patricia E. Curtis and husband William A. Curtis Jr. of Saugerties; James A. Boyle and wife Patricia A. of Kingston; Elizabeth M. Salvatore and husband Joseph P. of Saugerties; Kathleen A. Amell and husband Raymond S. of Stone Ridge; Mary J. Martin and husband Steven E. of Saugerties; brother of the late The Rev. Thomas J. Boyle and Richard Boyle; brother in law of Frances Janeski of Amsterdam. Five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins survive.

Calling hours Monday 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM at Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. Of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at St. Mary of the Snow Church at 10:00 AM.

Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
