Ray fires 300 game, Lansing rolls 299

TOWN OF AMSTERDAM -- Terry Ray bowled a perfect 300 game to lead action over the weekend at Imperial Lanes, while Justin Lansing came within one pin of perfect to pace Monday night on the lanes.

Ray's 300 came as part of a 754 series in the Mr. and Mrs. America league.

Lansing's 299 came Monday in the Amsterdam Men's City League as part of a 694 triple. Tim Grant led action overall in the Men's City League, firing a pair of 288 games as part of an 801 triple. Dave Montenaro Jr. also had a high game of 288 as part of a 745 series.

In other bowling action Monday, Mike Tartaglia's 256-714 triple was the top effort in the Imperial Men's Senior League, with Stu Minch posting the second-best series of 691.

Meanwhile, Carla Pasquarelli posted a 224-610 series to lead play in the Ladies Independent League. Maria Pasquarelli followed with a 215-550 effort.
