Robert Peter Toal Jr.

Robert Peter Toal Jr., 69, of Log City Road passed away on November 12, 2012.

Peter was of the protestant faith and a member of The United Methodist Church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Peter was born November 29, 1942 to the late, Robert P. Toal Sr., and Margaret Brumigin, in Upstate N.Y. He attended Union College and graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Peter worked for The General Electric Company, WGY, and New York State Government Services. He had a particular interest in radio and was a member of the Schenectady Amateur Radio Association.

Peter's cat "Niko" was not only his pet, but his companion who brought him great joy.

Survivors include his sister; Sharon Bendschneider (Roy), niece; Stacey Williams (Dave), nephew; Nicholas Bendschneider, grandnephew; Nicholas R. Bendschneider (Carla). Numerous Friends, including Mary Caramico, also survive.

There will be a funeral service on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the United Methodist Church, 347 Golf Course Road Amsterdam, N.Y. 12010.

Interment will immediately follow at Hagaman Mills Cemetery.

The family asks that in lieu of flower donations be made in Peter's memory to; the United Methodist Church, 347 Golf Course Road Amsterdam, N.Y. 12010, or the Montgomery County S.P.C.A., P.O. Box 484, Amsterdam, N.Y., 12010.
