Amsterdam Police Department

* Raymond Clemens, 44 of 1 Robin Circle, Johnstown, was arrested on Oct. 16 and charged with failure to appear on an outstanding bench warrant issued by Amsterdam City Court. He was held for arraignment.

* Ieshia Wessell, 34, of 220 E. Main St., was arrested on Oct. 16 and charged with failure to appear on an outstanding bench warrant issued by Amsterdam City Court. She was held for arraignment.

* Jeffrey Zepperi, 25, of 163 Ash St., Saratoga Springs, was arrested on Oct. 16 and charged with failure to appear on an outstanding bench warrant issued by Amsterdam City Court. He was held for arraignment.

* Nelson Ruiz, 29, of 75 James St., was arrested on Oct. 17 and charged with failure to appear on an outstanding bench warrant issued by Amsterdam City Court. He was held for arraignment.

* Paul Samuels, 27, of 1 Evelyn St., was arrested following a vehicle stop on Route 5S on Oct. 18. He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, as well as other vehicle and traffic violations. He was issued an appearance ticket for Nov. 14.

* John Surento, 54, of 37 Pulaski St, was arrested on Oct. 19 and charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a class E felony. His arrest stemmed from an investigation into a domestic dispute in which he subjected the victim to physical contact while a valid order of protection was in effect. He was held for arraignment.

* David Meyers, 32, of 54 Lincoln Ave., was arrested on Oct. 19 and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and obstructing governmental administration, both class A misdemeanors. Police responded to a call of a small child walking Lincoln Avenue unsupervised. Several people in the roadway assisted in finding where the child lived and his father. The father was uncooperative and was processed on the above charges. He was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 22.

* Primitivo Vazquez, 46, of 325 W. Main St., was arrested on Oct. 19 and charged with disorderly conduct, a violation, for allegedly engaging in a fight on West Main Street. He was issued an appearance ticket to return to city court on Tuesday.

* Marc Drescher, 34, of 68 Reid St., was arrested on Oct. 20 and charged with disorderly conduct, a violation. During the investigation, Drescher was observed to be yelling in the roadway. He was issued an appearance ticket for Tuesday.

* Deanna Carl, 19, of 119 Grand St., was arrested on Oct. 20 and charged with disorderly conduct. Police said she was being loud and boisterous and wouldn't calm down. She was released on an appearance ticket for Tuesday.

* Crayton Brooks, 24, of 106 Division St., was arrested on Oct. 20 and charged with petit larceny, and third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a class A misdemeanor. The victim reports there was a check stole from her and that the defendant took and cashed it. He was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 22.

* Noemi Tanner, 43, of 109 Guy Park Ave., was arrested on Oct. 21 and charged with failure to appear on an outstanding bench warrant issued by Amsterdam City Court. She was held for arraignment.

* Gregory Lavallo, 23, of 39 Evelyn Ave., was arrested on Oct. 21 on an outstanding arrest warrant for first-degree assault, a class B felony. The charges stemmed from a stabbing on Oct. 4, 2012. Lavallo was in custody at the Albany County Jail on other charges and was returned there after the arrest.

* Sara Butler, 31, of 11 Jackson St., was arrested on Oct. 21 and charged with failure to appear on an outstanding bench warrant issued by Amsterdam City Court. She was held for arraignment.

* Jeremy Hopkins, 27, of 42 Glen Ave., was arrested on Oct. 21 and charged with failure to appear on an outstanding bench warrant issued by Amsterdam City Court. He was held for arraignment.

* Brandy Snyder, 26, of 9 McClellan Ave., was arrested on Oct. 21 following a vehicle stop on McClellan Avenue. She was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, a class A misdemeanor. She was issued uniform traffic tickets to return to city court on Nov. 19.

* Patrica Chant, 44 of 480 W. Park Place, Troy, was arrested on Oct. 22 and charged with failure to appear on an outstanding bench warrant issued by Amsterdam City Court. She was held for arraignment.

* Sean McDermott, 26, of 14 Harris Ave. in Albany, was arrested on Oct. 22 and charged with failure to appear on an outstanding bench warrant issued by Amsterdam City Court. He was held for arraignment.

* Gennario Metallo, 34, of 20 Clinton St., was arrested on Oct. 24 and charged with failure to appear on an outstanding bench warrant issued by Amsterdam City Court. He was held for arraignment.
