No parking on High St. due to demolition

Monday, October 28, 2013 - Updated: 10:59 AM

Due to demolition work on High Street in Amsterdam, a parking ban took effect at 7 a.m. today and will continue until 4 p.m. Nov. 8.

There will be no parking allowed on both sides of the street from Church Street to 33 High St.

During this time, residents in the area may experience dirty or discolored water. This condition will dissipate if residents turn on cold water through all interior faucets for awhile and flush out the discolored water.

Residents with questions should call the city engineer's office at 841-4301 or 841-4331.
