Braves, Lady Braves finish strong at Grout

SCHENECTADY -- The Fonda-Fultoville boys cross country team took first place in the Division C portion of the Everett T. Grout Memorial this Saturday.

The Braves edged out second-place Rhinebeck, 55-71. Broadalbin-Perth came in third place with a score of 122.

Four F-F runners peppered the top-12 of the race, as Matt Hoffman came in fourth place, Tyler Angioli came in eighth, Jimmy Westman in 10th and Cameron Gilligan in 12th.

For B-P, Greg Bogdan finished in fifth place.

On the girls' side, F-F's Jamie Kasza finished in first place in her race with a time of 5:57.7. Kasza's finish helped the Lady Braves to a second-place finish, as Schuylerville edged out the F-F girls, 40-77. The B-P girls finished in sixth place, led by Montana Smith's 15th place finish.

Also for the Lady Braves, Kim Geniti finished in sixth place.
