Murdoch scores four goals to lead Amsterdam modified

The Amsterdam Lynch Literacy Academy boys modified soccer team blanked Gardner Dickinson, 7-0, on Thursday.

Misha Murdoch led the offensive surge with four first-half goals. Nathan Grant, Tyler Meca and Josh Smith also scored for Amsterdam. The dominating midfield of Owen Devine, Reese Devine, Danny Van Eps, Sam Phetteplace, strikers Kyle Panasuik and Louis Fedullo and defenders Carlos E Mendoze, Johnathan Orfan Michael Machold and Stephen Perry all helped goalie Tim DiCaprio record a shutout.

Amsterdam will host Albany next Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at Lynch Four Diamonds.
