Donna June Hojohn

Donna June Hojohn, 70, of Pulaski St., Amsterdam, passed away Saturday August 23, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Amsterdam, NY on July 12, 1944 a daughter of Howard E. and June E. Hay Hall. She was a lifelong area resident and was a 1962 graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School in Amsterdam.

Donna worked for over 20 years as a Customer Sales Representative at the former K-Mart Store on State Hwy 30 in Amsterdam.

She is survived by her children, Jack (Jennifer) Hojohn of Canajoharie, NY and Jill Furman of Amsterdam, NY; two sisters, Cathy A. Waldorf of Virginia and Laurie (Dennis) Druziak of Amsterdam, NY; cherished grandchildren, Kristie L. Dopp of Amsterdam, Jacqueline E. Hojohn of St. Johnsville, NY, Jessica and Julia Hojohn of Canajoharie; great-grandchildren, Reynaldo Cordero, Ricardo and Alexis Cedeno and Madison Fowler. Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Donna was predeceased by her parents Howard and June Hall and her brothers Leon "Chip" H. Hall and Gary A. Hall.

At Donna's request there are no calling hours.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Cremation will take place at Vale Cemetery Crematorium in Schenectady, NY.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Amsterdam, 246 Mannys Corners Rd. Amsterdam, NY 12010.
