Canajoharie golfers win

CANAJOHARIE -- Sam Shostek and Austin Countryman each shot a 42 to lead Canajoharie to a 12-3 victory over Duanesburg in a Western Athletic Conference boys golf match at Canajoharie Country Club on Monday.

Michael Balfe added a 47 and Trevor Bowerman finished with a 54.

Duanesburg's Pat McGarry earned medalist honors with a 41.

Foothills Council

Johnstown 171, Hudson Falls 220

Chris Geleta fired a 37 and Ben Wager followed with a 43 to lead Johnstown to a win over Hudson Falls.

Stephen Russo chipped in with a 45 and Ben Russo had a 46 for the winners.

Derreck Crandall shot a 42 to lead Hudson Falls.

Colonial Council

Waterford-Halfmoon 228, Fonda-Fultonville 272

Tom Bell tallied a 53 and Connor Meehan shot a 57 to help Waterford-Halfmoon defeat Fonda-Fultonville in a Colonial Council boys golf match at Fairways of Halfmoon.

Adam Desorbo shot a 45 to lead Fonda-Fultonville.
