As of 7 a.m. today:

Please see the below current road closure list. 

 

Special note ***St. Hwy. 5 between Fonda and Palatine Bridge will be closed at least most of the day.  Please advise all traffic to avoid that area and use the NYS Thruway or St. Hwy. 5s for East and Westbound travel.

 

CLOSURES:

 

State Highway 5 between Palatine and Fonda Tn. of Mohawk and Palatine

Hickory Hill Rd at Barker Rd Tn. of Mohawk

Mapletown Rd from Shunk Rd to Old Sharon Rd Tn. of Canajoharie

W Ames Rd from White Rd to Buel Rd Tn. of Canajoharie

Old Sharon from Carlisle to Maple Hill Rd Tn. of Canajoharie

W Sprakers Rd from Jump St to the Village of Canajoharie

 

Crews are out and will be out working to clear some of these roads.  Updates will be provided when available.  The boil water for the Village of Canajoharie will remain in effect until further notice.
