Antoinette Mancini

Antoinette Mancini, 89, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2014. Antoinette was born and raised in Amsterdam.

She was the daughter of the late Benedetto and Carmela LoPinto Nardo.

Antoinette moved to Schenectady, in 1950, when she married her husband Adolph Mancini. They shared 59 wonderful years together until his death in 2009.

She was employed as a bookkeeper by various firms in Schenectady until her retirement.

Antoinette was predeceased by her sister Josephine Manasseri and her two brothers, Frank and Nick Nardo.

Survivors include, her sisters, Mary Archase and Catherine (Thomas) Cirillo both of Amsterdam, sons, Dominick (Debra) Mancini of Niskayuna, Benjamin (Donna) Mancini of Latham, and grandchildren, Jessica (Shaun) Roth, Erynne (Jeff) Blackburn, Hayley Gentner, and Devon Mancini. She also leave behind many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, August 21, 2014, from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., at the DeLegge Funeral Home. A service will begin at 11:30, with Chaplain Sue Koehler Arsenault officiating. Entombment will be private.

The family requests that in memory of Antoinette donations can be made to the Community Hospice of Schenectady, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205-3809.
