Miss Roberta R. Hisert, 70, of West Madison Avenue, Johnstown, New York passed away Friday, August 15, 2014.

She was born April 10, 1944 in Amsterdam, NY a daughter of Fred and Ellen Hisert and attended local schools.

She was employed in the Housekeeping Department of Mount Loretto Nursing Home in Amsterdam, NY for over 35 years until retiring. She enjoyed baking cookies, pies and cakes.

She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church and the former Mount Loretto Nursing Home Auxiliary.

Survivors include, one brother, Robert Hisert, Amsterdam, NY; one sister, Dorothy Foss, Brooksville, Florida; her nieces, one nephew, a great nephew, and great nieces.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the Jendrzejczak Funeral Home, 200 Church Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church.

Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m. prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Church, 46 Cornell Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
