Mohawk Valley Community College

UTICA -- Mohawk Valley Community College is proud to announce the names of students whose high academic performance has qualified them for recognition as members of the President's List for the recently completed spring 2014 semester.

The President's List includes 861 students who achieved a grade-point average of 3.75 or higher (of a possible 4.00). To be eligible for these honors, full-time students must have successfully completed 12 or more attempted hours; and part-time students must have successfully completed 6 attempted hours.

Included on the list are the following students:

* Michele B. Auriemma of Amsterdam (Telecommunications Technology - Verizon NextStep)

* Austin D. Frederick of Dolgeville (Civil Engineering Technology)

* Joshua W. Hill of Canajoharie (Criminal Justice: Law Enforcement)

* Richard G. Insogna of Amsterdam (Criminal Justice: Law Enforcement)

* Sherri L. Kraft of St. Johnsville (Individual Studies: Associate in Science)

* Teresa N. Lake of Fort Plain (Liberal Arts and Sciences: Psychology)

* Ethan T. Lynch of St. Johnsville (Welding Certificate)

* Debra L. Marshall of Dolgeville (Chemical Dependency Practitioner)

* Tamara L. Shafer of St. Johnsville (Health Studies: Radiologic Technology)

* Marleen S. Smith of St. Johnsville (Food Service Administration, Restaurant Management)

The college is also is proud to announce the names of students whose high academic performance has qualified them for recognition as members of the Vice President's List for the recently completed Spring 2014 semester.

The Vice President's List at MVCC recognizes students who achieve a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.74. To be eligible for these honors, full-time students must have successfully completed 12 or more attempted hours; and part-time students must have successfully completed 6 attempted hours.

Included on the list are the following students:

* Cody J. Lawson of Fort Plain (Health Studies: Radiologic Technology)

* Manjit Singh of Sharon Springs (Computer Science: Cybersecurity)
