Goris leads Jaguars to win in flag football

Julien Goris ran for a touchdown and caught another to lead the Jaguars to a 28-8 victory over the Panthers in an Amsterdam Little Giants Flag Football game.

Goris ran for a 65-yard score and caught a 22-yard scoring strike from Nikko Shaffer.

Also for the Jaguars, Jose Vargas ran a 38-yard interception return for a touchdown and Tomas Quinones scored on a 45-yard run.

Louis Tirando scored on an 8-yard run to lead the Panthers.

Defensive standouts for the Jaguars were Omar Black, Jaden Taylor and Jared Wilson.

Zander Brown, Mitchell Calhoun and Devon Burtt all played well defensively for the Panthers.

Patriots 26, 49ers 18

Alex Jablonski scored two unanswered touchdowns in the second half to help the Patriots to a come-from-behind victory over the 49ers.

Jablonski put the Patriots in front for good when he scored on a 61-yard run. He followed that up with a 21-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Jablonski also scored on runs of 15 and 19 yards earlier in the game.

Edward Harrison threw two touchdown passes to Nicholas Santiago for the 49ers. Also for the 49ers, Richie Collazo threw a touchdown pass to Santiago.

Kingston Daley, Dante Soto and Jeremy Haluska played solid games on defense for the Patriots.

Nicholas Santiago, Gabe Rivera and Antonio Valls all played well on the defensive side of the ball for the 49ers.

Texans 30, Giants 18

Ryan Savoie scored three touchdowns to lead the Texans to a win over the Giants.

Savoie scored on runs of 45 and 57 yards and ran an interception back 44 yards for a touchdown.

Ross Sanders scored on a 45-yard run and Elias Saunders added a 25-yard run for a touchdown for the winners.

Marco Bottisti scored three touchdowns to lead the Giants.
