Ruth S. (Sherman) Armer

Ruth S. (Sherman) Armer, 82, of Hudson, Florida, formerly of Broadalbin, New York passed away on June 19, 2014, following a long battle with cancer.

Ruth was the daughter of the late Sanford and Magdalene Sherman. She was predeceased by her son, Jim, in 2002 and her sister, Alice Krohn (Jack) of West Galway.

She worked as a secretary for many years at the General Electric Company in Schenectady, New York, and later at the Montgomery County Infirmary in Amsterdam, New York. Ruth enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and doing gardening and needlepoint.

Survivors include her daughter, Teri of Hudson, Florida, a sister, Dorothy Bombard of Johnstown, New York and a brother, John Sherman of Ellisville, Mississippi, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Contributions may be made in Ruth's memory to a charity of one's choice.
