John M. Finnegan

John M. Finnegan, April 5, 2014, he and his wife Jean (nee Dopp) were married 60 years and were residents of the village of Hamburg, NY for 50 years.

John was a former divisional manager and director of labor relations for the New York Telephone Company where he was employed for 34 years.

He was also active in the Knights of Columbus, Junior Achievement, Wilcox Mansion Restoration, Niagara University Board of Directors, Chautauqua Lake Board of Directors and was a volunteer for St. Vincent de Paul Society in Spring Hill, FL.

John was survived by his wife Jean (nee Dopp) Finnegan, sons J. Michael (Laura) and Christopher (Deann) six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at SS Peter and Paul Church 66 E. Main St. Hamburg, NY July 19, 2014 at 10:00 am. Burial will be in Canajoharie Falls Cemetery.
