FONDA -- Two new Fonda-Fultonville Central School District Board of Education members will be sworn in at tonight's annual reorganizational meeting.
Dennis Egelston and Michael Lewis are replacing John Wiltey and former board president Timothy Wendell for two three-year terms.
Egelston is a Fultonville native and fourth-generation owner of Glen Meadows Farm in the town of Glen.
Lewis is also from Fultonville and works for the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
Both said previously that they plan to use their experience to work with the board and move the district forward.
In addition to swearing in new members, the board will elect a president and vice president and make committee appointments.
Wendell and Wiltey stepped down from the board at the June 23 meeting, during which Superintendent Raymond Colucciello honored the two with plaques for their years of service.
Wendell had served since 1999 but chose not to run for re-election this year. His last formal action as board president was to hand out diplomas at the Fonda-Fultonville High School graduation June 28.
Wiltey had been with the board since 2002 but lost in the May 20 election.
