Phyllis Raphael Hundert Lippmann, 75, died on June 18, 2014.
She was born in Amsterdam, NY, the daughter of the late Rose and Saul Raphael and the sister of the late Michael.
She was educated at Cornell University, Elmira College and the SUNYA School of Social Welfare, from which she received an MSW.
For many years she was a social worker at the Stratton VA Medical Center, Albany, NY and the Hudson Valley Health Care System, Montrose, NY. Providing social work services and counseling to veterans was a highlight of her life.
Family was her highest priority and greatest source of joy. Survivors include her husband, Henry E. Lippmann, daughter Deborah Fogarty and son-in-law Christopher Fogarty, daughter Susan Kaden and son-in-law Howard Kaden, grandchildren Samantha, Sydney and Zachary, two nieces and a nephew. Her first husband, Alan Hundert, also predeceased her.
