Mohawks score sixth straight win

BOONVILLE -- The Amsterdam Mohawks rallied for their sixth straight victory Friday night, beating the Adirondack Trail Blazers, 6-4, in 10 innings.

The Mohawks (8-6) got on the board early with a Jake Salpietro two-run home run, before the Trail Blazers stormed back to take the lead. Amsterdam tied the game in the 7th before winning in the 10th.

Amsterdam returns home tonight to host Adirondack at 6:35 p.m.
