Foothills Phantoms reach semifianls

ALBANY -- Asa Barnhill scored 16 points but it wasn't enough as the Foothills Phantoms dropped a 59-51 decision to U.M.O.J.A. in the semifinals of the King of the Mountain Tournament.

The Phantoms won four consecutive games before getting knocked out in the semifinals.

Earlier in the tournament, Barnhill scored 30 points in the Phantoms' 65-44 win over the Hudson Valley Wolves. Foothills, led by Barnhill's 31 points, followed up with a 67-37 win over Dream Team (Albany) and closed out pool play with a 69-44 victory over Team 518. Ryan Dingman led Foothills with 34 points.

In the quarterfinals, Robbie Van Brocklin scored 15 points to lift the Phantoms to a 73-53 victory over Fine Points and Fundamentals.
