Louis C. McNally

Louis C. McNally, 53, of Reid Street, Amsterdam died suddenly on Monday, June 10, 2013 at home.

Born in Fort Johnson, NY on December 5, 1959 he was the son of the late John and Helen Dawson McNally, Sr.

A lifelong area resident, Louis graduated from Wilbur H. Lynch High School in 1978.

At the time of his death he was employed for Brenton Industries.

He was an avid snowmobiler, four-wheeler and had an extensive collection of bald eagles. He also was a fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and NASCAR. Above all he loved his family and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his nine siblings; Eileen Vargas and her husband Carlos, Cathy Hernandez, Caroline Pietri and her husband Edgar, Sandra Blankenbaker and her husband Mike, John McNally, Jr., Peter McNally, Stephen McNally, William McNally and his wife Donna, and Adam McNally and his wife Karen; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 11 o'clock at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam.

Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Fort Johnson.

Calling hours will be held this evening, Wednesday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
