Kevin M. Ford 58, of Bellen Rd., Broadalbin, NY passed away Thursday June 5, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam following a brief illness.

Born in Amsterdam, NY on February 2, 1956, a son of the late Leo and Lillian Ford. He was a lifelong area resident and was a 1974 Graduate of Amsterdam High School. He went on to Study at Fulton Montgomery Community College.

Kevin was a career Welder and Iron Worker at G.E. in Schenectady working there for over 30 years retiring due to ill health. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing and riding his Harley-Davidson Motor Cycle. Kevin also enjoyed target shooting and was a member of the NRA. He also loved his pet dog "Slugger T."

He married Mary E. Watkins Ford on May 10, 1998. In addition to his loving wife he is survived by one son, Michael (Amanda) Ford of Broadalbin, NY. Two sisters, Betsy Ricker and Elaine Clary. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

At Kevin's request there will be no calling hours or funeral service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (Montgomery Unit).
