Robert F. Denero

Robert F. Denero,75, of Brookside Way, West Sand Lake, died Monday, May 20, 2013, at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Syracuse, he was son of the late John Denero and Sarah Wisniewski Denero. He has resided in West Sand Lake for the past 20 years.

Robert was employed in the shipping and inventory control department for US Product Corp for several years.

He was a United States Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his sons, Walter and Joseph Denero, Fort Lauderdale, FL; his brothers John Denero, Aiken, SC; Richard Denero, Fultonville, Walter Denero, Athens, GA; his sister, Paulette Brandt, Baldwinsville; and several nieces and nephews

He was pre-deceased by his dear friend and soul mate Janet Quell formally of West Sand Lake.

He was survived by his faithful friends and caregivers, Denise Brand and Tom Squires of Sand Lake and their families who supported him through his long illness.

Bob enjoyed music. He liked to dance and play the organ in his younger years. He was an avid reader and enjoyed watching old movies and playing cards with friends.

Bob had a kind heart and made friends easily.

Family and friends will gather at a later date for a celebration of his life.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Robert F. Denero to The Community Hospice of Rensselaer County 295 Valley View Boulevard Rensselaer, NY 12144.
