Bergh homers in Mohawks victory

Kory Bergh belted a home run and single and Mike Liverio added three singles to lead the Mohawks to a 13-3 win over Tuman's/Al's Garage in an Amsterdam Recreation Softball League game played on Wednesday at Lynch 1.

Jay Hoefs contributed with a triple and single, Chuck Parslow and Shane Hoefs had two singles apiece, Mike DiGiacomo added a double and Kody Shaw and Jimmy Quist each had a single for the winners.

Bob Lennon earned the win on the mound for the Mohawks. He did not walk a batter.

Nick Manginelli had a double and single and Ray Gawlak added two singles for Tuman's Al's Garage.

Jimmy Quist and Liverio each leaped to catch a line drive in the infield for the Mohawks.
