Gerald F. Zeno

Gerald F. Zeno, who passed away on July 16, 2011, was laid to final rest on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at St. Joseph Cemetery, Fort Johnson. The Rev. Pascal Ianotti presided.

Jerry was born March 16, 1929 in Burlington, VT. His academic and career achievements included: graduation from Winooski High School in 1947, an honorable Army discharge in 1948, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from St. Michael's College, Winooski, VT in 1953, a Master of Science for Teachers from Union College, Schenectady, in 1971, and a successful 25 year career in the Amsterdam School District from which he retired in 1987. Upon his passing, Jerry fulfilled a lifetime of learning and teaching by making an anatomical gift to Albany Medical College.

Most valued by Jerry were his friends and family.

He was predeceased by his parents and wife. His brother Carl passed away in May 2013.

Jerry is survived by: brothers Roy and his wife Jackie, Norman and his wife Marion; sister-in-law Mary; many nieces, nephews and grand nieces/nephews; and his children: Gerald S. and family: sons Brian and Terrie (A.), David and wife Amy, grandsons Kye and Marcus; Catherine, her husband Gus and daughter Jessica; James; Mary and her husband Russell; Caroline and her husband Michael.
