Thursday, May 01, 2014 - Updated: 11:48 AM

Four candidates are vying for three open seats on the Greater Amsterdam School District’s Board of Education.

Three of the candidates are incumbents with expiring terms: current board president Nellie A. Bush, current board vice president Kent A. McHeard, and Peter Pritchard all filed petitions by Wednesday’s 5 p.m. deadline.

Newcomer Andrea Prusky also filed her petition by the deadline.

District residents will elect board members at the 2014-2015 budget vote May 20 from noon to 9 p.m.
