Photos by Rebecca Webster - Recorder News Staff - The Amsterdam High School Drama Club brought the musical “Thoroughly Modern Millie” to the stage in the Bert DeRose Theater last weekend. All profits raised go into the drama club’s extracurricular account to fund future productions and subsidize field trips for drama club members. The money also helps to fund two drama-related scholarships for graduating seniors each year.

The women staying at Hotel Priscilla chat about a news story about an eligible bachelor.

Typists in Millie's soon-to-be place of employment, Sincere Trust, type to a beat.

Mrs. Meers, played by Diana DiCaprio, reads a note.

Millie sings "Jimmy" on the terrace of Muzzy's apartment.

Muzzy van Hossmere, played by Lena Faustel, hosts a party.

Miss Dorothy meets Ching Ho in the hall of Hotel Priscilla.

The partiers wait for their mugshots after the speakeasy is raided by police in a scene from "Thoroughly Modern Millie" at Amsterdam High School last weekend.

Millie Dillmount starts the show with "Not For the Life of Me."
