Elizabeth "Betty" Olzenski, 96, formerly of Amsterdam, NY died on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the Baptist Home in Rhinebeck, NY.

Born on March 25, 1917 in Amsterdam she was the daughter of Frank and Antonina Goley Kubas.

She attended Amsterdam schools and resided in Amsterdam until 2006 when she relocated to Rhinebeck, NY.

Mrs. Olzenski was a former member of St. Mary's Church and it's Ladies Rosary Society and the Mount Loretto Ladies Auxiliary.

She had been employed by the Singer Printing Company, Amsterdam, retiring in 1982.

On August 4, 1943 she was united in marriage to Stanley J. Olzenski, and they celebrated over 53 years together. Mr. Olzenski passed away on May 30, 1997.

Survivors include her loving children, Thomas S. Olzenski of Rhinebeck, NY and Carol A. Zych and her husband Edward of Brewster, MA: grandchildren, Kathleen A. Mayerhauser and her husband John of Poughkeepsie, NY and Paul E. Zych and his wife Kathleen of Mohegan Lake, NY; great grandchildren, Leah, Ryan and Molly; two nieces and two nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Good Shepherd Church, Rhinebeck, NY.

Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Amsterdam, NY.

Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Baptist Home, 46 Brookmead Drive, Rhinebeck, NY 12572.

Arrangements are by the Amsterdam Funeral Chapel, 13 Belmont Place, Amsterdam, NY.
