Ruth Conrad LeRoy, 92, of Van Dyke Avenue, Amsterdam, NY, passed away Thursday morning March 27, 2014 at St. Mary's Healthcare in Amsterdam.

Born in Amsterdam on April 3, 1921, she was the daughter of the late William and Lavina Benjamin Conrad.

Ruth received her education and graduated from St. Mary's Institute in Amsterdam.

She retired as a bookkeeper from Stark Oil Company in Scotia, NY.

Ruth was a parishioner and communicant of St. Mary's Church in Amsterdam.

Her husband, Walter "Bucky" LeRoy to whom she married on May 21, 1949, passed away on June 6, 2006. Ruth is survived by one sister, Jane Lysohir of Amsterdam and several nieces and nephews.

Ruth was also predeceased by two brothers and five sisters.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, 156 East Main Street, Amsterdam, NY, at a time and date to be announced.

Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Fort Johnson, NY.

There are no calling hours.

Memorial gifts in Ruth's name may be made to St. Mary's Church.

Arrangements are by the Riley Mortuary, Inc. 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY, 12010.
