An Amsterdam woman was arrested last week after, police say, she stabbed her boyfriend in a dispute.

Christall Glass, 34, of 45 Vrooman Ave., was arrested March 19 and charged with second-degree assault, a class D felony.

Det. Lt. Kurt Conroy, of the Amsterdam Police Department, said Wednesday that the charge stems from a domestic argument between Glass and her boyfriend.

Though the victim was somewhat uncooperative, Conroy said he admitted that his girlfriend stabbed him after a verbal dispute.

Conroy said that stab wounds were found on the left forearm, left tricep, shoulder and hand, on the victim.

He said that a kitchen knife was recovered.

The male, Conroy said, was released from the hospital that evening.

Glass was held for arraignment in Amsterdam City Court.
