The final arrest has been made in a gang assault incident from January in the city of Amsterdam.

James Glover, 22, of 17 McDonnell St., was arrested March 25 on an outstanding arrest warrant from Amsterdam City Court for second-degree gang assault and second-degree robbery, both class C felonies.

The charges stem from a Jan. 12 incident on Market Street where a male individual was assaulted by three other individuals, said Det. Lt. Kurt Conroy of the Amsterdam Police Department.

Conroy said previously that the male's belongings were also taken, which included a bracelet, a cellphone and a soccer bag. The male suffered minor injuries as a result of the assault and was taken to St. Mary's Hospital on Guy Park Avenue where he was later released, Conroy detailed.

Glover's arrest is the final one in the case, as police arrested Raymond Conniff, 19, of 350 E. Main St., in late January, and Nygee Roby, 19, of 17 McDonnell St., in early February.

Glover was held for arraignment in Amsterdam City Court.
