Mr. Raymond C. Jennings, 64, of Edson Street, Amsterdam, NY died peacefully at home on Sunday, March 3, 2013.

Born in Amsterdam he was the son of the late Carl and Almarine Peterson Jennings.

Ray was a graduate of Fort Plain High School and was employed at several entities including: General Electric and Losurdo Foods, Inc. He served proudly with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Gaile Suits Jennings; four daughters, Nola (Howard Gushue, Sr.) Leamon of Fultonville, NY, Karen Vunk of Ballston Spa, NY, Julie (Duke) Jennings of Gloversville, NY and Traci (David) Fisher of Hagaman, NY; two brothers, Wendell Jennings of Nelliston, NY and Jack (Sharon) Jennings of Bakersfield, CA; nine grandchildren, Samantha Vunk, Nicholas Lewandusky, Christopher Jennings, Sr., Christian Blanchard, Kassandra Blanchard, Courtney (Joey Eckert) Fisher, Cody Fisher, Colby Fisher and Jason Fisher; two great grandson, Christopher Jennings, Jr. and Ryan Eckert; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his sister in law, Kathy Lynn Jennings.

Services for Ray will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2012 at 11 o'clock at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 o'clock.
