Vintage ride-in a winter success

Photos by Carla Kolbe - EDINBURG - On Sunday, The Sacandaga Snowmobile Club held its annual Vintage Ride In at the Old Trail Inn, on North Shore Road in Edinburg to a booming turnout, with dozens of vintage sleds, a cook out, food buffet, and musical entertainment by My Dog Sergeant. This years winter snow conditions allowed for participants and spectators to enjoy their arrival by snow machine with lake and trail access.

The final results, with trophies awarded are as follows:

Best of Show - Jeff Fiore, 1972 John Deere 400

First place, original trail fan - Devin Dimick, 1972 Arctic Cat Lynx

Second place, original trail fan - Jake Zampko, 1977 Olympic

First place, restored Trail Fan - Fred Bleyl, 1968 Sno Jet

Second place, restored Trail Fan - Jeff Fiore, 1972 John Deere 400

First place, mini - David Yonkers , 1969 Sears Scooter

Second place, mini - Heather Simpson, 1972 Kitty Cat

First place, Race/Custom - Wendy Zawilinski, 1971 Elan Tracer

Second place, Race/Custom - Andy Zawilinski, 1972 Olympic

First place, Antique 66 or older - Andy West , 66 Arctic Cat 100
