Patrick K. Ranalli

Patrick K. Ranalli, of Amsterdam, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday December 15, 2012 with his family by his side.

Born in Schenectady, NY on St. Patrick's Day March 17, 1947, Pat was the son of the late Rose Mary and Dominick J. Ranalli Jr.

A 1965 graduate of Linton High School, Pat served in the U.S. Army in the Military Police from 1966 to 1968. He was the former owner and manager of the Lake View Inn on Sacandaga Lake.

Pat was the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf at Meadow Links Golf Course in Richfield Springs, NY for over 20 years. He was a dedicated professional who helped many people, both young and old, learn the game of golf. He was especially devoted to teaching junior golf. He always said "remember it's only a game." Pat was also a proud member of the Irish American Club of Amsterdam.

Survivors include his son, Darrell Ranalli; his identical twin, Carmine (June Stone) Ranalli and his brother, Dominick J. Ranalli III; and numerous cousins.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of the VA Hospital and Hospice 9B.

A memorial graveside service will be held on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 100 Kings Road in Schenectady followed by a celebration of Patrick's life at 12:00 p.m. at River Stone Manor, 1437 Amsterdam Road, (Rt. 5) Glenville, NY. Friends and family are welcome.
