Running Rams dropped by Troy, 84-40

TROY -- Javion Ogunyemi led five Troy High players in double figures with 15 points as the Flying Horses topped Amsterdam, 84-40, in Big 10 boys basketball action Monday night.

Jerrell Reid added 14 points for Troy, which also got 13 points from Justice Walston, 12 points from Zach Radz and 11 points from Imre Megyeri.

Andrew Druziak scored 12 points and Luis Laboy added seven points for Amsterdam (4-13, 3-12 Big 10). The Running Rams close their regular season tonight at Schenectady.

Foothills Council

Broadalbin-Perth 57, Hudson Falls 42

Eighth-grader Preston Taylor scored a game-high 20 points to help the Patriots close the regular season on a three-game win streak.

Taylor knocked down three 3-pointers as B-P (8-10, 6-8 Foothills) ran out to an 18-8 lead after the first quarter.y. Ben Bellandi added 10 points for the Patriots, while Chris Natoli scored seven. Mark Sylvia and Andre Taylor chipped in six points apiece.

Brandon Winchell scored 17 points and Christian Henkel tallied eight points for Hudson Falls (3-15, 1-13).

Western Athletic Conference

Mayfield 61, Duanesburg 39

Ryan Hennessy had a game-high 27 points and 17 rebounds as the Panthers won a WAC crossover game Sunday at F-MCC.

Dylan Toscano added 16 points for the Panthers.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Saratoga Central Catholic 50, St. Johnsville 45

Natalie Pikus had 15 points and Kaylie Fish scored 12 to lead Spa Catholic past St. Johnsville.

Rylie Smith scored 16 points to lead St. Johnsville, while Jessi Hagadorn added 13.
