Youth soccer online registration open

Registration for the Amsterdam Youth Soccer Club spring travel season is now open for the following age groups: U-14 girls, U-16 girls, U-17 girls and U-17 boys.

Registrations may be made online at amsterdamsoccer.org.

Youth baseball sign-ups underway

Amsterdam Youth Baseball will be holding sign-ups for the 2013 season. The league is open to all boys and girls ages 5-12.

The first sign-up will be Feb. 9 from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $45 for the T-Ball and Rookie divisions and $60 for the Minor and Major Divisions, with discounts of $10 per child for families with more than one child.

All registered player's will receieve $15 in raffle tickets which are included in the cost. Also those interested in Travel Baseball will be allowed to sign-up to guage interest for the upcoming spring season. More sign-up dates are on the league website, www.amsterdamyouthbaseball.com

Rossi fires 300 game at Imperial

Chuck Rossi bowled a perfect 300 game in the Amsterdam City League to lead Monday's action at Imperial Lanes.

Rossi also had Monday's high triple of 799.
