The Fort Plain High School baseball program will be hosting the annual Tony Curro Hitting Clinic March 2 and 3 at Fort Plain High School.
The morning session will be held both days from 9 a.m. to noon for modified, JV and varsity players in grades 9-12, while the afternoon sessions from 1 to 4 p.m. are for little league and modified players who are no older than eighth grade.
Campers must bring their own batting helmets, batting gloves and a bat. Price of the camp is $100, or $90 for those who attended the 2013 Baseball Academy.
The coaching staff will be headlined by former Watervliet High School and Siena College baseball coach Tony Curro, Fort Plain head coach Craig Phillips, former assistant coach Dale Smith and current assistants Jeff Briggs and Adam Cutspec.

St. Mary's modified team drops 3 games
The St. Mary's Institute modified boys basketball team suffered three recent losses, falling by scores of 56-24 and 49-12 to St. Matthew's of Voorheesville, and dropping a 44-32 decision to the Hudson Valley Rocks.
Against Hudson Valley, St. Mary's got 15 points from Danny Rivera, 10 from Timothy Kline, five from Andrew Giaimo and two from Anthony Vicinanzo. In the 56-24 loss to St. Matthew's, Rivera led the way with 12 points, while Kline scored four and Vicinanzo, Giaimo, Ian McNeil and Sullivan Fitz-James pitched in two points apiece. In the 49-12 setback against St. Matthew's, St. Mary's was led by eight points from Rivera, while Vicinanzo and Sean Vassi each scored two.
300-game at Imperial
Ed Arthurs bowled a perfect game Monday night at Imperial Lanes.
Arthurs came in third place with a series of 707, while Mike Miseno (276-748) took first at the Amsterdam Men's City League.
