Ruggeri sparks Heat over 76ers in Amsterdam Recreational play

Kayden Ruggeri scored 13 points and Damien Farrell added 10 points to lead the Miami Heat to a 36-31 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers in an Amsterdam Recreational Basketball League fifth and sixth grade basketball game.

Sebastian Greco chipped in with five points.

Jeffrey Brennan had 11 points and Spencer Flint and Andrew Giaimo scored nine and seven points respectively to lead the 76ers.

Grades 3-4

North Carolina 26, Siena 22

Kyle Bottisti poured in 11 points and Lorenzo Bottisti and Anthony DeRosa added eight and seven points, respectively to lead North Carolina past Siena.

Playing well defensively for North Carolina were Zachary Apholz, Brady Nash and Derek Carella.

C.J. Durinick and Jesus Rivera each scored eight points to lead Siena. Andrew Spagnola, Sal Conti and Andrew Welch helped out with two points apiece.

Luka Quatrini, Jordan Bonnano and Preston Schwartz played well on defense for Siena.
