Carl Schultz Jr.

Mr. Carl Schultz, Jr., 77, of Washington Street, Fort Plain, New York died peacefully on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown. Born in Brooklyn on March 30, 1935 he was the son of the late Carl and Ida Weckinger Schultz, Sr.

Carl worked for several years as a Pepsi Cola Distributor in Brooklyn. In the early 1970s he moved to Fort Plain where he and his wife Marge owned and operated the Rendevous Inn for 20 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Margaret Schultz; his daughter Jami LaBadia of Johnstown; siblings, Joseph Schultz and Joann Schaefer; two grandchildren, Joseph LaBadia and Marjory LaBadia.

He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Joyce Quinton.

Services for Carl will be private and at the convenience of the family.
