Mekeel Christian downs Mayfield

Mekeel Christian Academy went on a 22-4 second quarter run en route to a 65-40 win over Mayfield in a Western Athletic Conference boys basketball game on Wednesday night.

Caleb Stewart scored 29 points to lead Mekeel Christian Academy.

Ryan Hennessy scored 14 points and Dylan Toscano compiled nine points to lead Mayfield.

Schoharie 70,

St. Johnsville 50

Conner Brown scored a game-high 26 points to lead Schoharie to a 70-50 victory over St. Johnsville.

Alex Hart scored 13 points, Johnny Vicciarelli had 11 points and Ricky Jasezwizc and Kyle Smith chipped in with 10 points apiece for St. Johnsville.

Canajoharie 4.

Mekeel Christian 0

Travis Colgrove rolled a 206-571 and Bailey Pitonza added a 205-543 to lead Canajoharie to a win over Mekeel Christian Academy.

Canajoharie (50-2) outshot Mekeel Christian 2,726-2,072.

Joshua Dorinsky had a 163-453 and Jared Dorinsky chipped in with a 158-449 to lead Mekeel Christian.
