Mrs. Sandra L. Pawlowski, age 72 of Mayfield, died at her home on Saturday, January 12, 2013 following a long illness.

She was born August 28, 1940 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late John and Verda Gifford Goodbread. A graduate of Gloversville High School, she later worked at Grand Union in Gloversville and at Decca Record Company.

Mrs. Pawlowski was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit, Gloversville. She enjoyed playing BINGO.

She was married to John A. Pawlowski, who survives, on April 23, 1960. They have shared over 52 years of marriage.

Also surviving are two children: Matthew Pawlowski (Traci) of Sioux City, Iowa and Michele Krohn (Brian) of Perth; four grandchildren: Justin Pawlowski (Stephanie), Koty Garrison-Pawlowski, Aaron Garrison and Amanda Pawlowski; two great-grandchildren: Anthony Pawlowski and Anna Pawlowski. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Sandra was predeceased by two brothers and a sister: Bart Goodbread, Britton Goodbread and Jackie Wilson.

A Mass of Christian Burial at will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 17 at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 151 S. Main Street, Gloversville.

Private visitation will take place at the convenience of the family.

Interment will take place at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Amsterdam. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 3704, Memphis, TN 38103 or to Boys Town USA, P.O. Box 7000, Boys Town, NE 68010.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
