ROTTERDAM -- The Amsterdam High School girls basketball team awoke from an offensive slumber in the third quarter, scoring 20 points in the period to charge to a 42-33 non-league win over Schalmont Wednesday night.

Nina Fedullo had 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead the way for the Lady Rams (5-4), who picked up their fourth straight win to get over the .500 mark for the first time this season. Amsterdam managed just 10 points in the first half and trailed by six at intermission, but roared back to outscore Schalmont 20-12 in the third quarter -- and 32-17 in the second half -- to take control of the game.

Guilianna Pritchard chipped in eight points for Amsterdam, while Caitlin Gannon scored seven and Kaitlyn Devine added six points.

Ryanne Olsen led Schalmont with nine points, while Rachel Strijek, Tralyn Randle and Julianna Mastroianni had six points apiece.
