• David D. Baird Jr., 36, of 62 of Milton Ave., Apt. 1 Amsterdam, was charged Saturday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and speeding. Baird was issued tickets to appear in Amsterdam Town Court at a later date.

• Justin A. Barry, 29, of 74 Prospect St., Amsterdam was charged Sunday with theft of services. Deputies said Barry was arrested after he allegedly failed to pay for a taxi ride in the town of Amsterdam. He was issued tickets to appear in town court at a later date.

• Nickolas Lilley, 23, of 224 Moyer Road, Sprakers, was charged Saturday with second-degree harassment. Deputies said Lilley was arrested after an incident on Moyer Road where he allegedly threatened a victim. He was arraigned in Glen Town Court and issued an order of protection.

• Jeffery D. Schaefer, 32, of 30 Phillips St., Apt. 1, Amsterdam, was charged Friday with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and having an unsafe tire. Deputies said Schaefer was arrested after a single car motor vehicle accident on Route 5 in the town of Amsterdam. He was issued to tickets to appear town court at a later date.

• Dylan J. Slater, 25, of 286 Buel Road, Canajoharie, was charged Friday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. He was issued tickets to appear in Charleston Town Court at a later date.

• Patrick P. Ramirez of 24 John St., Amsterdam was charged Friday with violation of probation. Deputies said the New York Police Department arrested Ramirez at approximately 4:15 p.m., and he was brought back to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for his warrant. He will be arraigned at a later date.

• Cocquia R. Williams, 325 Duanesburg Road, Apt. 9, Rotterdam, was charged Thursday with failure to appear. Deputies said Williams was arrested at approximately 3 p.m., when she turned herself into the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department for a warrant.

• Marquis W. Winfield, 35, of 2051 Watt St., Schenectady was charged Sunday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, speeding, having a 0.08 percent or greater blood-alcohol-content, driving while intoxicated and operating a vehicle in violation of a restricted license. Deputies said Winfield was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 5 in the town of Amsterdam. During an investigation, they discovered he had an alleged suspended conditional driver’s license and was intoxicated. Deputies said Winfield consented to a field sobriety test and the subsequent chemical test confirmed he was intoxicated. Winfield was ticketed, release and expected to appear in town court at a later date.

• Shawn Arnold, 27, 60 E. Main St., Fonda was charged Wednesday with third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing. Deputies said Arnold was arrested following a domestic dispute. He was arraigned in Glen Town Court, held on $1,000 cash bail and sent to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
