Amsterdam Police Department

• Christopher L. Bracero-Mendez, 20, of 138 Malta Point, Mechanicville, was charged Sept. 29 with speeding, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and unlicensed driver. Police said he was released after posting bail and is expected to appear in City Court at a later date.

• Kim E. Clark, 57, of 11 Caroline St., was charged Sept. 29 with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and driving while intoxicated. He was held pending arraignment.

• Camila Z. Dorazio-Diaz, 28, of 2 First Ave., Waterford, was charged Sept. 29 with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. Police she was ticketed and is expected to appear in City Court at a later date.

• Carlos R. Colon, 33, of 17 Union St., was charged Oct. 1 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, unlicensed driver, inadequate headlights and circumvention of an interlock device. Police said Colon was released after posting bail and is expected to appear in City Court at a later date.

• Dean M. Suarez, 22, of 15 Elizabeth St., was charged Oct. 1 with second-degree harassment. Police said he was ticketed and is expected to appear in City Court at a later date.

• Bectol Rodriguez, 51, of 200 Virginia Lane, apartment B6, was charged Oct. 1 with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police said he was ticketed and is expected to appear in City Court at a later date.

• Genesis Concepcion, 20, of 54 Elizabeth St., was charged Oct. 2 with first-degree offering a false instrument for filing, an E-Felony. Police said Concepcion was ticketed and is expected to appear in City Court at a later date.

• Christian A. Diaz, 21, of 46 Vrooman Ave., was charged Oct. 2 with second-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief, and fourth-degree grand larceny, all felonies. Police said Diaz was arrested after an investigation revealed that on Sept. 25 he allegedly struck and punched a woman, causing an injury. He also struck her with a metal pipe.  Police said Diaz then allegedly took her cellphone and damaged it. Police said a warrant was applied for and Diaz was arrested on that warrant on Oct. 2. He was held pending arraignment.

New York State Police

• Hussain L. Williamson, 24, of Fort Hunter, was charged Sept. 29 with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Deputies said Williamson was stopped after a traffic infraction was observed on Route 30 in the town of Perth. Deputies said an investigation subsequent to the stop revealed that Williamson was in possession of marijuana and his driver’s license was revoked due to the fact that he had accumulated 53 suspensions on four dates. Deputies said Williamson was arraigned in Perth Town Court and remanded to the Fulton County Jail in lieu of bail.
