• Gareth N. Phelps, 21, of 290 County Highway 132, Hagaman, was charged Sept. 20 on a warrant for failure to appear in city court and was held pending arraignment.

• Ernesto M. Esteva, 39, of 20 Kline St., was charged Sept. 20 for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operation of an uninspected motor vehicle. Esteva was released on bail and scheduled to appear in city court at a later date.

• Jarid A. Valentin, 24, of 362 Locust Ave., was charged Sept. 20 with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unreasonable speed. Valentin was held pending arraignment.

• Anissa S. Goble, 37, of 69 Bunn St., was charged Sept. 20 with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and operation of an unregistered motor vehicle. Goble was released on tickets to appear in city court at a later date.

• Audreanna M. Oliveira, 20, of 15 Milton Ave., was charged Sept. 20, with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. Oliveira was released on a ticket to appear in city court at a later date.

• Devra A. Greene, 34, of 28 High St., was charged Sept. 21 on a warrant for failure to appear in city court and was held pending arraignment.

• Taylor J. Osborne, 25, of 34 Dewitt St., was charged Sept. 21 on a warrant for failure to appear in city court and was held pending arraignment.

• Javier M. Miranda, 32, of 60 Division St., Apt. H1, was charged Sept. 21 on a warrant for second-degree aggravated harassment following an alleged incident in July. Miranda was held pending arraignment.

• Sade S. Bryant, 31, of 16 John St., was charged Sept. 21 with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, operation of an uninspected motor vehicle and inadequate headlights. Bryant was released on tickets to appear in city court at a later date.

• Jacob R. Berroa, 19, of 16 John St., was charged Sept. 22 with second-degree assault, a felony, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child. Berroa reportedly got into a fight with another person and allegedly hit them in the face with a glass vase, which cut the victim’s face. He was held pending arraignment.

• Douglas B. Bartholomew, 47, homeless, was charged Sept. 22 on a warrant for failure to appear in city court and was held pending arraignment.

• Joseph A. Vanamerongen, 41, of 18 McNeir Ave., was charged Sept. 23 with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, for allegedly violating an order of protection and having been previously convicted of second-degree criminal contempt. Vanamerongen was held pending arraignment.

• Marky Altidor, 46, of 12 Jay St., was charged Sept. 23 with second-degree strangulation, a felony, second-degree menacing, third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. Altidor allegedly assaulted a person, who claimed he had struck, choked and prevented them from leaving their residence. Police located Altidor a short distance from the scene and as he was being taken into custody, he allegedly began to struggle and pull away from police. He was then subdued and arrested. He was held pending arraignment.

• Joshua I. Moses, 24, of 308 Greenwich Drive, Albany, was charged Sept. 23 with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. Moses was issued a ticket to appear in city court at a later date.

• Chad F. Maye, 26, of 104 E. State St., Johnstown, was charged Sept. 23 with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operation of an uninspected motor vehicle, broken windshield and having a loud exhaust. Maye was released after posting bail and is scheduled to appear in city court at a later date.

• Nilda R. Marrero, 34, of 11 Eagle St., was charged Sept. 23 on a warrant for failure to appear in city court and was held pending arraignment.

• Andy Ortiz, 25, of 75 Grove St., was charged Sept. 24 with driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of .08 or more. Ortiz was determined to allegedly be intoxicated after a traffic stop on Market Street. He was issued tickets to appear in city court at a later date,

• Ashley M. Deming, 30, 111 Old Gick Road, Wilton, was charged Sept. 25 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and operation of a motor vehicle without insurance. Deming was released on tickets to appear in city court at a later date.
